The “Pani”m Parliament” is an independent, non-political, non-profit organization that seeks the advancement of leading, influential, constructive women’s leadership in Israel, through the placement of women of proven personal excellence in key strategic decision-making positions, making wise use of their skills and talents. The ultimate goal of the Parliament is to effect true positive social and economic change.
The “Panim” organization was established by women with personal and professional excellence, who hold various positions in trade, industry, law, science, education, etc., and act voluntarily, in order to change Israeli society and promote active leadership among women with high leadership abilities, performance skills, and proven professional experience.
We believe that diversity in management and in influential positions, along with an optimal extraction of the talent and proven experience of leading women, will contribute to improving the performance of organizations in the industry, and will promote economic growth and prosperity in economic organizations as well as within society.
“Pani”m” organization holds an official treaty, which is a call for social, business and occupational change, in the spirit of the organization’s goals.
The organization works regularly to expose the treaty and its contents to public officials, municipal leaders, Knesset members and ministers, directors of private and public companies, public opinion leaders and the general public, encouraging them to identify with the organization and show commitment, alongside active actions to promote social, business and occupational targets which are in visionary spirit of the organization.
The members of the Parliament forums lead a number of projects, and conduct deliberations, activities and initiatives in cooperation with leading entities in the government, public, economic, academic and communications arenas, for the following objectives, among others:
Science and Technology Forum
Encouraging science and technology study programs for girls, beginning at the middle-school level; Encouraging industrial post-doctorate for local scientists;
Encouraging women’s political leadership within the local authorities;
National training and courses- “Journeys of Transformation”;
Exposing women to tenders for positions in local government and state roles;
Promotion of legislation in the field of employment and legal guidance by the organization;
Financial guidance and promotion of women towards economic and financial management of self, family, and businesses;
Fostering career development opportunities for women with proven excellence in their field;
Promotion of the employment of people over 40 who are excluded from the employment market because of their age;
Promotion of academic research, legislation, and steering committees in cooperation with employers and the unemployed;
IT and Communication Forum
Management and promotion of the organization’s web site, Facebook page as well as social networks.
“Social Watch gender” Forum
Tracking and measuring of members of the Israeli Knesset on issues of gender.
Eradication of governmental corruption Forum
A traveling workshop for high school students in order to change the perceptual, normative and ideological approaches to eradicate corruption.
Parenting and Career Forum
To promote parenting alongside career management.
Social Business Networking Forum
Leverage of the economic and social club membership and expansion of social circles;
Promoting business cooperation and joint ventures, as well as networking, at the state and international levels, including alliances with similar organizations in other countries;
MEINAF and “Entrepreneurship on the Bar”
Projects which promote women’s entrepreneurship, along with activities relating to the Second International Entrepreneurship Week;
Promoting commitment to gender diversity on boards of directors and in management;
Holding an annual conference of the organization, to meet with members, acknowledge yearly achievements and share future plans;
